Thursday was a record-setting day for Maile Grout and Clare Lenart of the Seymour girls soccer team.
Grout set a school record for goals in a match with eight, while Lenart broke the assists record with five to help the Owls win 23-0 over Scottsburg at C.B. Hess Memorial Field.
The team?s total goals also is a school record.
Grout didn?t wait long to get her record-setting day started, as she gave her team a 1-0 lead at 35:15 of the first half.
